Turtles Helping Turtles -- Each year around this time, we try to donate our time to a worthwhile cause. Last year we helped raise $46,000 for a local Quincy CA boy, Simon Tru McQuarry to help towards his cancer medical bills. This year we are very excited to donate our time to a fundraiser benefiting the Sea Turtle Restoration Project at seaturtles.org. This organization is a leader in sea turtle conservation and protection. We are the entertainment at their 20th anniversary bash and fundraiser taking place at the state-of -the-art green building, David Brower Center in Berkeley, CA on Sat Nov 14th. 2010 NYE Announcement -- We are pleased to announce that we will be returning to The Great Basin Brewery in Sparks, NV for this year's New Year's celebration. Themes and support act will be announced soon. Tickets will be $25 in advance and at the door, but we suggest getting them in advance. For those folks coming from out-of-town, there are plenty of affordable lodging options within walking distance and short drives to the venue. Remember, Reno/Sparks stays open all night!
